Lucky's story
She was born on January 1st, 2016. She left on March 25th, 2023.
Lucky was a Great Dane — brown body, black mouth, the whole gentle-giant thing fully embodied. She was the kind of dog who filled every room she entered — not loudly, but completely. Not asking permission. Just deciding that wherever you were, that was where she belonged. 130 pounds of calm certainty.
She was fierce when she needed to be and completely ridiculous the rest of the time. Protective of everyone she loved. Subtly mischievous in a way that took you a second to catch. A mother of 14 puppies who carried that warmth into everything she did. She made you feel safe just by being in the room.
She left on March 25th, 2023. Loving something that much, and losing it — that changes what you build.
I started building this platform in 2023, the same year she died. I incorporated Omkar's Holistic Services LLC in New York that year. I named the AI guide Lucky. Not as a tribute in the memorial-plaque sense — but because she deserved to keep doing what she always did: being present with people in the hard moments — steady, unafraid, and completely, stubbornly there.
About Omkar
I came to tarot the way most people do — sideways, during a season that felt unclear.
I wasn't looking for predictions. I was looking for a way to think more honestly about what was actually happening in my life. What I found surprised me. Tarot wasn't fortune-telling. It was a structure for noticing — a way of naming what I already sensed but hadn't been able to say out loud.
Over time, reading for other people became part of how I offered that same quality of attention to the questions that matter most to them. The questions you don't say at dinner. The ones you think about at 2am. The ones you already know the answer to but aren't quite ready to admit yet.
The tarot tools that existed when I started felt either cold and clinical — keyword lists with no warmth — or so draped in mystical performance that the actual guidance got lost. I wanted something that felt like a real conversation. Personal. Honest. Not afraid to say something that might be hard to hear, but never cruel about it. That's what I tried to build here.
